When deep decay or trauma reaches the pulp inside the tooth, it can cause severe pain and an abscess. A modern root canal treatment relieves the pain and saves the tooth from extraction.

The infected pulp is removed, and the canals are cleaned, disinfected and shaped with specialised instruments, so that no bacteria are left behind.

We use rotary endodontic systems, digital apex locators and magnification loupes to work precisely in even complex root anatomy, which makes treatment faster and more comfortable.

The canals are sealed with a biocompatible material. Because a treated tooth becomes more brittle, we usually recommend a crown to protect it, so you keep your natural bite.
